National Physical Laboratory (NPL)

We are proud to host the Surrey-NPL hub, which is a strategic partnership between the Universities of Surrey, Strathclyde and the National Physical Laboratory. NPL is the UK's National Measurement Institute and is a world leader in developing and applying the most accurate measurement standards in areas such as aerospace, the digital world and healthcare, which are complemented by the research strengths and expertise at Surrey.

Surrey Health Partners 

The University is a member of the Surrey Health Partnership, which works with a broad range of healthcare organisations in Surrey to enhance research, innovation and education in healthcare, with a focus on service transformation and enabling a patient-led NHS.

As part of our University Global Partnership Network (UGPN) we collaborate with North Carolina State, São Paulo and Wollongong Universities, working together to benefit global society through knowledge transfer and research collaboration.  

SETsquared

We work with Bath, Bristol and Exeter universities in our SETsquared partnership which supports start-ups, encourages student enterprise and help researchers to make their work commercially viable.

South East Physics Network

We are part of South East Physics Network (SEPNET), a consortium of nine partner universities in the south east of England, which collectively promote the value of physics for science and society.
